Wrap-Up for January

So I’ve never done a wrap-up post before, but I thought I’d give it a go, seeing as it’s the end of the first month of the year! And can I just say, how fast has this month gone?! It feels like new year’s was only last week.

Here are the books I’ve read this month:

Tokyo Ghoul (Volume One) by Sui Ishida

Shy Ken Kaneki is thrilled to go on a date with the beautiful Rize. But it turns out that she’s only interested in his body—eating it, that is. When a morally questionable rescue transforms him into the first half-human half-Ghoul hybrid, Ken is drawn into the dark and violent world of Ghouls, which exists alongside our own.

Demons In Disguise (The Divinicus Nex Chronciles #3) by A&E Kirk

Survival. Time to make it their problem.

With dead bodies piling up on this side of the Waiting World and the Mandatum closing in, Aurora is so over being prey. So the hunted becomes the hunter. Targeting the dangerous traitor who wants her dead catapults Aurora out of Gossamer Falls and way past her comfort zone.

But the master of deception won’t go down easy, armed with a diabolical plan and a legion of evil to take down anyone who gets in their way…including the Hex Boys. Aurora and her six Hexy Knights dive into the belly of the Mandatum beast and wade through murky moral waters where trusting the wrong people is the only way to make things right.

What could possibly go wrong?

In Aurora’s case…everything.

Of Mice And Men by John Steinbeck

George and his large, simple-minded friend Lennie are drifters, following wherever work leads them. Arriving in California’s Salinas Valley, they get work on a ranch. If they can just stay out of trouble, George promises Lennie, then one day they might be able to get some land of their own and settle down some place. But kind-hearted, childlike Lennie is a victim of his own strength. Seen by others as a threat, he finds it impossible to control his emotions. And one day not even George will be able to save him from trouble.

I really haven’t read that many books this month, unfortunately. I’m hoping to get a few more read next month though, because I just have so many unread ones lying around my house.

On a side note:

I reached 100 followers! Thank you guys so much for following and supporting my blog, it truly means a lot to me! To think I only started this blog in October, it’s crazy. It feels like I’ve run this blog for so much longer than four months.

How about you guys? What books have you read this month?
