Book Harmony | A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

Book Harmony is a new segment on my blog! The idea is I’ll pick a book to highlight once a week, and choose a song that relates to it (which could be that it fits with the mood of the novel, etc.). You can check out my previous Book Harmony post here.

Since I’m on a fangirl high right now, I thought it only fitting to use A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas for this post. A Court of Wings and Ruin, the third book in the ACOTAR series, comes out tomorrow and I’m. Not. Ready.

Goodreads Synopsis:

Feyre survived Amarantha’s clutches to return to the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can’t forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin’s people.

Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of a world cleaved in two.

The song I’ve picked for this stunning novel is Castle by Halsey.

This song is fantastically creepy, and as soon as I heard it, it instantly made me think about Feyre and some of the events in this book. I can’t say much else, because I’d be giving away major spoilers, but ahhhhh.

If you’ve read it, does this song remind you of ACOMAF?
