Treat Your Shelf

Hey guys!

Ever since I got my new bookcases, I haven’t really wanted to buy any more books (am I allowed to say that as a bookworm? I feel like that might be worse than saying I prefer a movie adaptation over the book). It’s not that I don’t want more books, but ever since I went through all of the books I own and discovered the amount of unread ones I have, I don’t want my physical TBR to grow and actually take over my room. (Who I am kidding, I’m pretty much already at that stage.)

But for the first time in my bookish life, I feel kind of overwhelmed at how many books I have yet to read. So for the past few months, I haven’t really bought that many new reads. I bought a few to celebrate finishing a year of uni a few months back, and now I’ve bought more to celebrate going back for another year (that’s my excuse, anyway)!

Here are the books I’m treating my shelf to this month:

Wayward Son (Simon Snow, #2)

Wayward Son (Carry On #2) by Rainbow Rowell

I pre-ordered this book a few months back, but since it doesn’t come out until the third of October, I’m saying it counts in this book haul. I’ve said it many times before but I’ll say it again: I love Carry On so much! I’ve been waiting for its sequel ever since I finished it, and I’m really looking forward to this one releasing next month!

Pumpkinheads

Pumpkinheads by Rainbow Rowell & Faith Erin Hicks

It’s Rainbow Rowell: of course I had to buy this book. It sounds like it’s going to be a cute read, and I’m super happy I managed to order the signed bookplate edition from Waterstones!

The Places I've Cried in Public

The Places I’ve Cried In Public by Holly Bourne

Am I Normal Yet? by Holly Bourne will forever be one of my favourite books of all time, so I’m always happy when she has another book coming out. I’m looking forward to reading this one soon!

Are any of these books on your TBR? What books have you recently bought?

Thanks For Reading!-4
