One day, I’m hopeful I’ll post a FairyLoot Unboxing on time, but until then, please ignore the fact that I’ve only just gotten round to taking photos for last month’s box! October’s theme was Love At First Bite, and a slightly younger, vamp-book-obsessed me would’ve fangirled so much about the items included. It was a great box with a book that’s on my TBR, so I’m super happy with it!

Items In the Box
Bat Enamel Pin – this pin is adorable! It’s designed by Taratjah, and will definitely be going on display on my pin banner.
Twilight Vinyl Sticker – the art on this sticker is so pretty, and whilst I didn’t actually recognise it from Twilight, I very much like the quote:
‘I like the night. Without the dark, we’d never see the stars.’
Dracula Book Sleeve – I love this book sleeve so much. You probably can’t tell with the photo I’ve included, but it actually has a zip to close the top completely! I’ll be using this one when I’m hauling hardbacks around with me.
Vampire Beanie – this funny vamp-inspired beanie will be useful with the cold weather that’s coming!
My Last Sunrise Candle – I can’t believe, considering how many vampire books I’ve read in my life, that I still haven’t read Anne Rice’s Interview With the Vampire! I love bookish candles so much, and this one is no exception.
Vampire Art Print – the art on this print is so good! FairyLoot work with such talented artists that create such unique designs!
Book of the Month
I can’t believe it’s 2019 and vampires are actually making a comeback in books! I loved The Wrath & The Dawn by Renée Ahdieh when I read it a few years back, so I’m looking forward to reading The Beautiful – I have high expectations!
In 1872, New Orleans is a city ruled by the dead.
But to seventeen-year-old Celine Rousseau, it’s also a safe haven after she’s forced to flee her life in Paris. Quickly enraptured by the vibrant city, from its music to its extravagant soirées and even its danger, she soon becomes embroiled in the city’s glitzy underworld, and particularly the group known as La Cour des Lions.
But when a body is found in their lair, Celine is forced to battle her attraction for the group’s enigmatic leader, Sébastien Saint Germain, and suspicions about his guilt, along with her own secrets.
As more bodies are discovered, New Orleans becomes gripped by the terror of a serial killer on the loose – one who seems to have Celine in his sights. But when she finally takes matters into her own hands, she finds herself caught in the midst of an age-old feud between the darkest creatures of the night, where the price of forbidden love is her life.
What did you think of this month’s box? Is The Beautiful on your TBR list?!
