Top Ten Tuesday: Books With One-Word Titles

Hey guys!

Top Ten Tuesday is run by That Artsy Reader Girl, and the idea it to write a list of ten things that match the weekly bookish prompt! This week’s Top Ten Tuesday is books that have single-word titles.

With uni stuff and assignments due, I almost forgot about today’s post, but there’s no better way to procrastinate an assignment than blogging! And hunting through my Goodreads shelf for books for this list was such a throwback!

Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days #1) by Susan Ee

When I was in my early teens, I used to read pretty much everything on my Kindle – and I read a lot. I used to read hundreds of books a year (those were the days) because I went through Kindle books so quickly. I stumbled across Angelfall on the Kindle store and was amazed by how brilliant a book it was! I never continued on with the series, but I wish I had.

Antigoddess: Book 1 (Goddess War series) by [Blake, Kendare]

Antigoddess (Goddess War #1) by Kendare Blake

I remember loving this book, but for some reason I never continued on with the series. From what I recall, it was a unique take on Greek myths and showed the Gods in a different way than any other book I’ve read.

Caraval (Caraval #1) by Stephanie Garber

I didn’t read this book that many years ago, but can I remember anything about it? Barely. But I do remember being shocked by the ending – I do plan on continuing with the series at some point!

Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

I feel like Fangirl is such a classic YA book! I still listen to the audiobook because it’s just a comfort read for me, and I love it every time.

Moxie by Jennifer Matthieu

This is another book I can barely remember anything about, but I gave it a good star rating, so I must’ve loved it!

Obsidian (The Lux #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

This book used to be a fave of mine, and I’ve reread it so many times! It’s a great series, with a really interesting take on what would happen if aliens lived in the human world.

Pumpkinheads by Rainbow Rowell & Faith Erin Hicks

This is a graphic novel that I read late last year, and it’s super sweet! It’s perfect for prior fans of the author and illustrator, and for anyone who loves anything autumn!

Remix by Non Pratt

I adored this book! So much so that I wrote a raving review for it, which you can read here. I read it at a time when I really wasn’t sure what I wanted to go on and do with my life (career wise), and it was such a big help to read about characters going through similar things.

Shiver (Wolves of Mercy Falls #1) by Maggie Stiefvater

I read this series such a long time ago, and I really enjoyed it (though it’s another one on this list that I can’t recall most of what happened).

Starcrossed (Starcrossed #1) by Josephine Angelini

The number of times I’ve reread this book is definitely in the hundreds! It was a favourite for me throughout my teenage years, so the whole series holds a special place in my heart.

Have you read any of these books? If you’ve written a Top Ten Tuesday, feel free to link it in the comments!
